Many of my clients continue to want to make TV commercials. This does not surprise me because according to Statista, TV advertising revenue, TV advertising revenue in the U.S. surpassed 71.1 billion dollars last year. Small and large businesses know that TV commercials are still the best way to get the word out about a new product or service to a national or local audience. My clients request TV commercials because so many people still watch TV and in a local area like Pittsburgh, it can be quick and easy to put out a simple yet effective TV commercial to let people know you are in business! For example I had a customer who owns a large online services company that helps small and large companies get the word out about their business. Their company advertises to other companies so putting out 6 short 15-second commercials was very impactful for them. They got the word out very quickly and now everyone knows who they are on a local level. When I first started working in video production, I never really thought about which questions to ask my clients before creating a commercial. I always assumed that if they wanted a commercial for their business then they would know what they wanted and needed. I was wrong. After two days of dimmed lights, the is lit tonight in bleu, blanc and rouge. The mayor of Anne Hidalgo, ordered that the tower display the national colors for three days after she saw monuments around the world paying tribute to France — including the @sydneyoperahouse and @oneworldtrade in New York. The will also display the city’s motto, “Fluctuat Nec Mergitur,” Latin for “Tossed but not sunk.” @pierreterdjman took this photo while on in Paris.

I’m thrilled to announce that my daughter, @jennabhager and I are writing another children’s book, OUR GREAT BIG BACKYARD. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the @nationalparkservice OUR GREAT BIG BACKYARD will show kids all our National Parks have to offer. Illustrated by Jacqueline Rogers, OUR GREAT BIG BACKYARD will be published in May 2016, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the @nationalparkfoundation.
